How to transform ideas into ICT - driven innovation: a unique experience blending research, entrepreneurship, industry driven track and pan-European mobility.

The Doctoral Training Center - DTC offers an innovation-oriented educational path, combined with EIT Digital and International Doctoral School of the University of Trento .

Doctoral Training Centre provides with a multi-disciplinary and inspiring environment aligning with the EIT Digital Action Lines (Digital Cities, Digital Industry, Digital Wellbeing, Digital Infrastructure, Digital Finance). Trento Node is focused on Digital Cities approaching issues such as urban mobility, analytics for decision making and citizen empowerment, safety - increasing resilience of cities against exceptional events (terrorism, climatic hazards, large events, environment, pollution).

The DTC contributes to implementing the Innovation and Entrepreneurship education required by the EIT and works proactively to promote networking and to recognise business opportunities.

EIT Digital Doctoral School Track provides for:

  • a Business Competence Phase (three mandatory courses on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E)). For more details about the courses program please visit the page here
  • a Business Development Experience developed within the company that sponsors the scholarship. An opportunity to make an analysis and recommendation on a Digital Transformation challenge in a industry and company context;
  • 6 months of geographical mobility to foster the research topic .

Who can apply?
Students with a Master's degree can apply for these specific Ph.D positions by sumbmitting an application when calls for applications are open.
